Join the PROMS free open air concert on Thursday 26th May
The International Conducting Competition Rotterdam welcomes you to enjoy the most beautiful classical music in a free(!) open air concert at Kop van Zuid, next to Hotel New York. With orchestral masterpieces by John Williams, Brahms, Piazzolla, Strauss, Dvoลรกk, Bernstein, Puccini, Prokofiev, and many more! This event is the kick-off of the first International Conducting Competition Rotterrdam. In the upcoming days, six young conductors present themselves in their journey towards the international top-notch of conducting. For this open air concert, they have put together a programme with a personal story to share with the city of Rotterdam.
