Ed Spanjaard is the Music director of Nieuw Ensemble, the Atlas Ensemble and the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra. Previously he was chief-conductor of the Limburg Symphony Orchestra and Dutch National Ballet Orchestra. As a guest conductor he worked with the London, Munich and Israel Philharmonic Orchestras, the Dallas Symphony, the Danish National Orchestra, Ensemble Modern, Klangforum Wien and Ensemble InterContemporian. Furthermore he worked with The Dutch National Opera, Aalto Opera and Opera de Lyon.
