Wayne Marshall

Conductor

Wayne Marshall is the chief conductor of the WDR Funkhouse Orchestra in Cologne, as well as the principal guest conductor of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi. He is known for his 20th-century American music interpretations.  He has conducted orchestra’s such as the Berliner, Rotterdam and Hong Kong Philharmoniker, the London and Vienna Symphony, and the Washington National Opera, Staatsoper Berlin and the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra. He also appears frequently as organist, including the premier of James MacMillan’s organ concerto with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
